POSCO Terminal renames itself into POSCO FLOW and sets off for a new beginning starting on April 1, 2022.

POSCO Terminal confirmed the decision to change the corporate name into POSCO FLOW at EGM on March 29, and held a briefing on the new name and a new vision by inviting their employees and key customers within the group on March 31.

POSCO Terminal, which began anew as the POSCO Group’s logistics arm, determined that it would be difficult to depict the purpose and future directions of the company with the existing name and chose to adopt a new name.

POSCO FLOW signifies a company that creates a new trend in logistics by promoting inclusive growth as a green, smart logistics company.  It implies the nature of logistics where not only cargo flows but also numerous amounts of information, together with the company’s scalability in the future. In parallel, POSCO FLOW updated the corporate vision, mission, and slogan as follows.

POSCO FLOW CEO Kwang-soo Kim said, “By changing the corporate name, we will establish our identity as a company specialized in logistics of the POSCO Group and become a leading green and smart logistics company in Korea. Taking a step further, we will contribute to the advancement of the nation’s logistics industry, while connecting new, sustainable value to lead the latest trends in logistics.”

Since its establishment in 2003 as POSCO Terminal, the company has contributed to the development of essential national industries by supporting SMEs, including cogeneration plants and cement companies in the CTS (central terminal system) sector, with competitive means of transportation in delivering coal and limestone.

*CTS: An end-to-end logistics service system that delivers freight from the place of origin overseas, goes through unloading, storage, and processing in Gwangyang and Pohang base, and then ships them to customers via coastal transportation, truck transportation, or railroad transportation.
